Marvin is no more. He’s gone to the great kennel in the sky.It got to the stage with the dodgy legs, lungs, eyes, etc, etc, that we had little choice but to have him put down. Vets Jon & B came to the house to sort him out last night – thanks guys, it was really peaceful.
Let’s not forget though, he was a complete fool of a dog. He ended up on a neighbour’s roof when chasing a cat, and in a ravine in Tresaith the first pitch-black night at our caravan. A dog with no learning curve whatsoever, he was content to bark at shadows, and the bigger the other dog, the more likely Marv was to fight it.
All the cats, dogs, birds and clouds of Pontypridd can rest more easily now; Marv won’t be chasing them any more.
